Conservation/Wildlife Book Scholarship

The Warren County Izaak Walton League offers a $250 scholarship to one student a year. Any student looking to go into the field of conservation or wildlife/marine biology & is a member of the Warren County Ikes or lives in, graduated from, or is going to school in Warren County is eligible. Osprey Re-introduction

The Warren County Conservation Board is working on a five year project to re-introduce osprey (a fish eating bird of prey) back into
Warren County & the club is working on raising funds to sponsor one bird a year for all five years with each bird costing $500. We are currently accepting donations for this cause. The club is also going to match any donations made to it for this cause. If you are interested in making a donation please make a check payable to Warren County Ikes & write osprey in the memo line. Send to Warren County Izaak Walton League, PO Box 183, Indianola, IA. 50125. Warren County Izaak Walton League is a 501(c)(4) organization so donations are not tax deductable.

Road Clean-up

The club is a participant in the adopt a hi-way program. We have adopted the county hi-way right in front of the clubhouse down past the camp ground entrance to Lake Aquabi State Park. We keep this section of road clean from litter & debris.
